Bob and Lee - Mequon

After a job change from Chicago to Milwaukee and finding a home in Mequon to live in, Bob and Lee decided they needed some major updating. Well, the updating led to a whole Kitchen remodel. After considerable design work and revisions, we were ready to get started. We removed soffits, closed off a doorway, created another doorway and opened a arched see-through into there living room which helped open up the space. We added hickory floors in the kitchen that seemlessly blend into the new maple floors in the living room. We also ended up taking out a bay window and creating an opening for a patio door. This required matching a 40 year old painted brick on the outside and re-toothing or weaving brick back around the patio door in order to make it seem like it was always there.. It turned out beautiful. These are just some of the major heighlights of this project. We must have done a good job because they asked us back to do there master bathroom. (Bob and Lee Bath)

Latha - Brookfield

This kitchen was an exciting design challenge. The client wanted to remodel most of the kitchen, but leave some of the remaining cabinets and integrate them into a new design. The idea was to pull out the existing peninsula and install a large island with a gas range, hood, dual ovens (1-microwave convection, 1 conventional convection), a warming drawer, new counter depth refrigerator and a dishwasher. She did not want to replace all of her cabinets however, so we ended up custom stain matching custom cabinets and crown molding w/rope to blend in with her older cabinets. The crown, rope molding and cabinets themselves look as though they were always there. We added a very large island with a raised end for seating, pendant lighting, under cabinet lighting, rope lighting above cabinets, can lights and many other features. She has had many gatherings and has told us repeatedly how much she is enjoying her new kitchen. It all starts with a good drawing and a well-designed plan. The client had a vision of what she wanted, she just needed our assistance to change her vision into a reality.
